Is the infield shifted?

No idea and don’t expect these announcers to tell us much

"bruh" His foot was off the bag after he got the throw from Thompson.

That's why I said he must've had the ball in his glove before the foot came off.

Yeah, you caught me. That's why I said "as much as I hate to say it."

Does he have to try and throw 200mph?

When you’ve got time to set your feet, throwing a bullet is easier than guiding it there

That's who that trash ball is? Looked like some Chalmette head from the early 80s.

Sure. You’d like to make that play, but that is way more on the short stop to reach first base.

The ball Thompson threw to first looked pretty damn similar to the batted ball Thompson caught at short.

It’s a routine short hop throw. If you’re going to play first you have to be able to handle them. You’re whole job is to clean up for your infield. You don’t have to throw. You don’t have to range out for ground balls. You have to catch the throw.

It’s no different than a catcher blocking up pitches in the dirt. Is it your fault that the pitch is in the dirt or the throw to first is short? No. But is it your job to clean it up? Damn right it is. Do your job.

How many balls does Milazzo actually pull?

The hit last week vs UK to run rule them was pulled to LF but it seems the majority of his balls in play are to the opposite field..
