Agree 100%. He was already over 100 pitches, had sat a long time while the offense put up all those runs, and it had started to rain. I think even our bullpen could have protected a six run lead in the ninth so I would have gone to them. But, it worked out and Tigers win - game and series! I will enjoy watching Old Piss tumble in the rankings next week.

He and Hellmers should be able to cover most of the innings. Just have to keep the offense going. Hopefully, that ninth inning will spill over into tomorrow.

Edwards threw yesterday and warmed up tonight apparently. He may not be available tomorrow, and if he is, likely will not be as effective. But it depends how hard he warmed tonight and how he responds

There’s no way Crews only hit one ball over 100 mph unless they weren’t including foul balls like they usually do. He murdered a couple foul harder than anything he hit fair. That Thompson bomb foul was easily over 100 too
