Yep. Bobby Dodd got sick of the Bear recruiting players just to keep them away from other schools. Alabama vs Georgia Tech was one of the original classic SEC rivalries. Bear once said he would rather look across the field & see anyone else except for Bobby Dodd.

My take exactly as I watched much of the second half of both their Wisconsin and UNC games, Devoe is very good but it's as if the rest of the team was almost afraid to shoot.

Yeah this game will hinge on Devoe being on.

I want to see how Wade and our guards defend Devoe. This should be a good test before SEC play.

Yeah, the preview here indicates they run the Princeton offense. Now I only saw the back end of both of these games but if they do run the Princeton they totally abandoned it at the end of these games - it was almost like the old Chris Jackson offense under Dale, clear and let Devoe go one-on-one...and it didn't work very well for the ending for them in either game.
But they are an athletic team and one that has played some good teams so this will be a challenge. In fact I would say this is the most athletic team we'll have played to this point.

Sorry Butt, I now realize I heard WW mention that on the Boot Up podcast and it was not in your preview. My apologies. But I looked up other sources outside WW who also say that's their primary offense. Didn't see it in the action I watched though.

Just put some money on Georgia Tech Team Total under 66.
With the layoff our boys are fresh, Wade has been on their asses for too long. I just can't see how Devoe scores more than 25. Wade has been preaching for a week about missed defensive assignments it should be fun to watch

Butt got a Jabari question for you my brother. Actually started a thread about it but the kid is an absolute beast. Will be a top 5 pick next year GUARANTEED!! Did we even have a shot at him?

I have wondered the same - never really heard if we did have a shot.
Saw some highlights, kid is legit. He and Eason will be a fantastic matchup.
