Pretty sure when you overrun the base it’s your job to maintain contact through the tag. He didn’t do that.

That's the thing. He had body control. His hand was on the bag and the play was over. Its another horrible call amongst the dozen egregious ball/strike calls.

Honestly the rule has to do with intent. White was diving to make an honest tag not intentionally pushing him off the bag. Really no different than if a first baseman makes an aggressive swipe tag and your hand comes off. You’re out because it’s a tag. However you can’t just intentionally shove a guy and then tag him and he be out. It comes down to was white making a baseball play (which he was) or was it an intentional shove to just push him off.

He was on the bag with his hand completely stopped, this doesn't apply to the play we just saw. It makes sense if a guy is still moving but he wasn't, he was completely stopped with hand on bag then tag forced him off.
Just a shite call, no way around it

The runner was not moving with his hand on the bag. He wasn't in the process of going in to the bag. Umps blew the call. It'll be ok.
