2 big Ks after that bomb. Lot different pitching up 6-0 in a clean inning than coming in in a 2-0 game with the tying run at the plate. Not great to groove fastballs, but way better than walks. Great comeback this inning and great outing altogether. All 4 outs were Ks.

Doing some research into Texas and it really seems like they havent been recruiting well in recent years and really have a lot of lack of talent on their squad. Looking through PG looks like they only have 3 former Top 100 overall players from PG rankings on their team. 2 of them are 4th year guys from the 2020 class, a pitcher who has spent last 2 years hurt and O'Dowd who starts at 2B and is hitting .107 right now on the season (yikes).
Their only other former Top 100 overall player is a freshman from 2023 class (Gasparino) who is their starting CF and playing well to start the season hitting well over .300.
Thats shocking to me a squad like Texas has not been successful getting Top 100 kids to campus in recent years. Thats going to be a big time wake up call for them hitting the SEC from Big 12 from a talent perspective.

Amazing how many strikeouts there are in today’s college baseball. I don’t think Braswell has even gotten a grounder at shortstop this game.
