Now see, this is why I think people have so many arguments on these forums. Nobody actually pays attention to what they read and/or they only hear what they want to hear when they read and fill in the blanks with their own assumptions.
I never once said the other third-base coaches were "awesome". I said other successful teams don't hire guys with the experience or lack thereof and background that Cain has to coach at that position.
It doesn't even require any research or knowledge to figure that out. It just is common sense. You don't hire guy that's never ran the bases to coach players to run the bases in the game. You also don't allow dress rehearsals for first-time coaches at a position that important when you're a program like LSU

I love the swag and cockiness of Cabrera. He is the guy that other teams have that always piss us off. He is going to be fun to watch in purple and gold.
