Not too shabby when you consider the conditions and opp. and how conservative they were with JJ at Washington, the rain at Vandy IMHO.

Who would have thought we would have edged out Fla.???

not by much.

Vandy would be better if they were playing McKenzie Adams at QB IMO FWIW>

Vandy was also in the rain.

On the other hand, have to expect Ole Miss, Bama, and UK to all top 326.

This....

Am I missing something here. If they are showing average yards per game rendered, then would it be best is Vandy's spot?

this is SEC play only. I looked up the stats from all the games played thus far and put them in an excel spreadsheet to see were they stood.

So the avg SEC offense is 350.25 yds per game. Which means we're a below avg SEC offense. Somehow, that doesnt make me feel as good as you seem to feel.

I think we can expect LSU to top 326 from here on out. Time for the training wheels to come off IMHO.

So if Im reading that right we'd also be tied for 1st with Florida in SEC defense?
Looks that way to me.

Perfect example of how insufficient data can lie....

you can ask 2 people something and if they both agree, say that 100% of the people agree.

neither in such case, nor in this case, is there enough data to really derive a meaning from it.....way too early.

you can also say that we produced 45% fewer yards than # 1.....it is a nice list to follow, but I do not see much meaning in it yet...a couple of more games will help

ding ding ding, we have a winner. this was the point of this thread. people posting LSU is dead last in the SEC is comparing the first three games of the season (not the SEC) where a lot of teams have been playing FCS teams (which will pad their stats). I have to admit that AU putting up 589 against moo u is pretty impressive.

Those stats don't mean shite considering the lack of quality in teams the SEC schedules.
