I answered your question. This team is absolutely Omaha level good because there aren’t 8 other teams in the country that are better overall.

Before the SEC portion of the season started, I said the benchmarks and how you achieve them are as follows:

To make the tournament, 15-15 will probably do it. To achieve that:

For an away series, you can achieve that by winning 1 game every series - 5 games

For a home series, you can achieve that by winning every series. -10 games

To host a regional, 16-14 might do it, and 17-13 almost certainly does it.

For an away series, you can achieve that by winning 1 one series and not getting swept in any of the other 4 - 6 games

For a home series, you can achieve that by sweeping 1 series and winning the rest. -11 Games.


To be in a position to host a superregional, 18-12 may do it, 19-11 almost certainly will.


For an away series, you can achieve that by winning 2 series and not getting swept in any of the other 3 - 7 games

For a home series, you can achieve that by sweeping 2 series and winning the rest. -12

Right now, LSU has 5 away victories and 10 home victories. If they win the next two series (1 home and 1 away) they end up 19-11. I would love a sweep at home vs Arkansas, I do not expect it. I would love a sweep at South Carolina, while I am not counting on it, it would not surprise me either.

If this team cannot hit this is the type of pitching we will face in the super regionals. So we have to start hitting or we won't make it to Omaha
