You let him bat because he’s been one of our better batters . He sucks in the field, but y’all are letting that influence how you think he’s hit.
He’s not been a bad hitter in sec play. Look at his stats .

Travinski is not good. He doesn’t hit and is a liability behind the plate.

If Thompson seriously just makes one of the plays he fricked up in the last inning (the fielding errors/throwing home, and the double play ball) LSU has a lead in this game.
