The only part that was embarrassing was the effort. Losing to them was not that big of a deal. They’re good.

I only watched ETSU in the game against us but resume wise it looks like they could end up like Wofford last year and put up a 30 win season and ranked, which would lessen the blow.

That's why I was a little encouraged about the defense. Relying on banked in heaves late in the shot close isn't really a great offensive philosophy.
It will be interesting to see how LSU matches up with Bama. I wouldn't be shocked to see Taylor start the game to guard Petty. He has become LSU's "wing stopper" since Manning went out.

Would honestly have preferred to stay unranked. Team seems to play better when they feel disrespected. Rankings don't mean squat till end of February.

For those who have the mentality of "who cares if we blow big leads as long as we win", go watch Wade's press conf. today. He is PISSED about the blown leads. He said he's been nice about the issue and tried to work through it but he's sick of it and the players are going to have to start paying for it (extra running, consequences, etc). Basically said it's great that they are still winning despite blowing the leads, but it isn't sustainable if they want to compete at a high level. He was salty today. He responded to goofy Scott Rabalais' lead in to a question of: "I already know the answer to this, but I'm going to ask it anyway" with "Well, then why are you asking it?"

Coach said it was embarrassing at an event I went to a few days later, when we went to watch them play USC. He was frustrated.
