It seems as if you believe that all of these teams are implementing the same offense along the same timelines. Nothing could be further from the truth. LSU went from Cam's to limbo to Canada's to limbo.

As of spring ball of 2018 the only place LSU'S new offense existed was a whiteboard in the football operations building somewhere. As of the beginning of the 2018 season only 30% of the offense had been installed.
The perfect storm was brewing on the horizon.

Remove the 7 OTs and see what you get.

As long as we can remove the Bama game or whatever other game that we don't like.

Lol OTs are not a true measurement of an offense or defense. The offense has an incredible advantage to begin with and the defense is beyond exhausted to the point of being non existent.

Red zone productivity scoring touchdowns was not where it should have been, I enjoy watching this LSU offense and short of scoring TD's in the red zone we are in good shape.

The staff needs to get more aggressive in the red zone instead of worrying about turning the ball over or walking away without getting a field goal. There does seem to be a mindset change when they get into scoring position.

OT games skew stats. Mindless statistics. Try again.

Of course the team averaged 464 ypg in the 2016 season in the games Ensminger was the OC, which is higher than any season in LSU history. Have we ever had a better OC than Ensminger? The numbers seem to indicate that we haven't.

And you nerds wonder why the “haters” are constantly “shitting on” this coach and staff when they simply refute nonsense like this, joking or otherwise

They won’t understand that strength of defenses faced were taken into account when doing this ranking. The defense is 11th also per this formula...maybe they will be happy about that

Absolutely. Only the trolls and haters are upset with this year given the lack of returning production, inexperience, suspensions, injuries, and new coaches. This year they should be ready to roll and I expect the O will be very good.

Everyone knows that 7 ot game is the reason the averages are so high.
We basically got 14 games worth of production in 13 games.
The day before a&m we were at 384 ypg.
And 27.8 ppg.

Our offense was garbage.
Southeastern held us to 63 yards and 3 1st downs in the 2nd half.

We had less than 400 yards 7 times.
We had less than 350 yards 5 times.

Throw out the best and worst game and you will get a much clear picture of the offense. The A&M game was skewed by the 7 OT's and the SLU game was skewed by well it was obvious they weren't motivated by that game.

Strength of defense isn't considered by these guys. Even a team like Miami who the haters say sucked, had an overall top 5 defense...and Auburn was top 25 I believe.

In the end what’s it matter?

Why should anyone care bout 2015?
Our offense wasn’t as good as it need to be in 18.
At times it looked good at times it sucked.

Oline play
Brand new qb
Avg rbs
EXECUTION

All contributed to the inconsistency.

LUCKILY for the swamp king ....most all of those should be greatly improved in 2019 and tricky Ricky and friends will have to find something else to initiate their periods.

If you remove any overtime points then I believe lsu scored more points in conference play than any other West team but BAMA. There's that.

It’s just amusing that they don’t take into consideration that the offense lost Guice, had a qb with limited time in the offense and a new oc that installed a new offense. The oline has to improve.

Ha! So true.
Let's compare our 2018 offense against the worst offenses in 2015-2017 (ourselves).
Hey look! Things are looking great my comparison!
No need to do anything different. We're on the right track. Things are trending up.

When they ignore facts and just the overall eye test from watching this years offense it’s clear they just have an agenda.

2015’s offense had Fournette, Guice, and Williams as top 3 RB. Brossette was fourth team.

WRs were so deep Chark was on the scout team.

That team had NFL OL.

As Ricky likes to say, facts and shite.
