agreed. this is a "who's next on the list" ranking. Florida is gonna be licking their proverbial chops with us going into the swamp ranked #2.

Ohio State, Florida, Auburn, Wisconsin and West Virginia would beg to differ.

I get what you are saying man, but USC still being ranked higher than UGA is craziness. I'm going to have to watch the whole UGA to see how bad they looked.

Florida is in the right place.
Florida/Ole Miss = USC/Oregon State not= UGA/Bama

Never said they should be in the top 10 my friend, just that USC should be ranked below them. I don't think either team belongs in the top 10.

I'm surprised to see South Florida tied with UGA. Ya' think USF is overrated?

Not true. You may not that a #1 team lost at home last year to an unranked team. That team dropped all the way to #7. That team bounced back and made it to the NC game. That team is LSU.

Florida loss had Florida up 17-3 at halftime. Ole Miss wasn't dominant at all like Oregon State; instead, they made up for it with an epic comeback win.

Oregon State bushwhacked Southern Cal -- up 21-0 at the half and bent but didn't break in the second half.

Florida loss >>> Southern Cal loss

Georgia loss >>>>>> both

we were already ahead of mizzou. but bama should be ahead of mizzou after beating UGA like that.

Not really. Both OSU and Ole Miss were 20+ point dogs. Florida was at home. They were about the same.

I'm not going to get into a debate over whether or not a come from behind victory is greater than hanging on to an early lead.

All I'm saying is both USC and UF lost to unranked teams in their conference. If we are going to say USC choked, then we should be fare and say UF choked just as bad.

USC at 9 is a joke considering they lost to a unranked team. First time a #1 team lost to a unranked team in 23 years. Meanwhile Georgia loses to a top team Bama team and is ranked lower then USC?

I agree 100%.

Actually, given that Florida came to play, actually built a solid lead, and came a blocked PAT away from squelching a comeback win, I consider that loss much more impressive than Southern California being down 21-0 at halftime. The Trojans weren't even very impressive in the second half -- at least Florida fought hard all the way, Southern Cal looked like it forgot how to play football in the first half and still seemed lost to me in the second half.

I see the point about a loss is a loss, if that's what you're saying...I just don't agree.
