I expect that but as I said in a previous post, we are a pitching injury or two from dropping from a 20-10 team to a 15-16 SEC win team. If that happens, these “they don’t count” games actually do count as we lose our regional “due to non-conference “ losses.

It’s all okay. Last time we lost to Southern, we hosted a regional. We didn’t win it, but expectations on this board are much less now.

Thank you for making my point!! We could just as easily see our injury woes continue to increase as we could have them all come back healthy. The SEC is loaded and we’re simply a few injuries away from being middle of the pack versus champion. And when that happens, midweek games mean a lot!!!
