I agree to a point. As you said if we get our 20 it probably doesn’t matter. If we don’t then it could. We’re halfway thru the season and have struggled to keep (get) pitchers healthy. We’ve also had a couple of injuries that have hurt us in the field.
We’re (and any other SEC team) a couple of key injuries away from dropping to 15-17 SEC wins and possibly being on the bubble to be a National seed or even host a regional. Arky learned that one year, they got sent on the road due to midweek losses.
These performances probably won’t cost us, but they can and it is a risk. It’s also frustrating for the fans which may help one understand all the empty seats.
