I’ve got nothing. That’s just terrible. Sure he slid toward the corner of the bag. But he slid directly into the bag. On time. And it wasn’t a pop up slide. On top of that the play wasn’t even close at first and would never have been regardless. Injecting theirselves in the game just to remind fans they are here. Pathetic.

I love Milazzo but why did he definitely slid to the outfield side of the bag, inside foot on the centerfield edge of the bag with the other foot outside the bag. Didn’t interfere but needlessly opened the door for the call

I know some refs and umps and they see themselves as a team, especially when they travel together. Review officials should be kept completely out of that loop, because they will always have bias toward their teammates.
