Nuss has taken a huge step back from last year.
If he is this hurt maybe he shouldn't be playing.

You float it up for a 50 50 on a free play, it's the right throw.

Nuss doesn’t have any zip on his passes. Got to be injured.

We need to get some tempo going on offense. Wear out this D

Anyone on this board who talked up Golding based on his defense last year needs to have their head examined. He fricking sucks as a scheme guy and his players are always undisciplined as frick. I think we will find to a far worse degree than our offense by the end of this game.

Man, it’s so obvious Nuss isn’t right. I admire him trying to play through it, but damn man.
Yup. Hard to watch.
We don’t need him to be a super hero, just avoid awful plays until he heals.

Im not sure he's still hurt. Im starting to wonder if the pressure of being the Heisman frontrunner coming into the season was too much for him.
ETA: he's definitely hurt, but I'm not sure how much.

Ole Piss playing very undisciplined

Uptempo --- full court press in hoop --- wakes up a team

Let's just grind that defense. Just do the little things right.

Nuss’s problem last year was overthrowing deep routes. I think he is hurt. That shot on the first drive probably reinjured him.

1st and 5 when we start the second quarter in plus territory. I say go deep again here. It's four down territory anyway and you have three plays to get five.

Nuss just cant throw a deep ball at all can he? Nearl every deep ball he throws is underthrown and has the receiver fighting back through the db.

He handled the pressure of being our entire offense last year. I don’t think that’s it

That would explain bad decisions, but what we're seeing is 65% of the zip he used to have on throws.

Serious question, why is the quarter over?
Must be one of the new "shorten the game" rules

He ain't hurt, he's a slow starter. I say this every fricking game.

Use some of the misdirection stuff from game one and dink and dunk them to death.
