Hopefully Jones and Trav figure it out

They will, but that doesn't often happen on the bench.

and maybe replace Bingham with Jake Brown or just put Kling in for his defense.

I'm with you here.

No way he turns two there
But Braswell could have beaten guy to 2nd for 1

braswell 100% made the right call. the 2 seconds it would take to toss the ball to the second baseman who wasn't in position would likely have meant both runners were safe.

I don’t think he could have gotten to second in time and it may have affected the throw to first. Good decision

Smart move there Braswell

Yep, if Milam had been a little closer to second, maybe but he wasn't in good position so going to first was the right call.

Holman doesn't have the same bite on his slider right now. Starting to hang a few. I asked earlier, but how many pitches did he throw last week? Jump threw 80, so if Holman threw 100(ish), he's likely not gonna be able to go as long as Jump did yesterday. And there's no reason to really push him if he runs out of gas a little earlier. I could see the 5th being his last inning. Then turn it over to Ack then Little or Guidry.

It would have been very very close. I think he made the correct choice.

It would be nice if Holman could give you 1 more inning

I think Holman has 1 more at least. If we could get a run or two, maybe he could fill the zone a little more and get some quick outs.

but it made him earn an additional out which accounts for the other 5 pitches. he wouldn't have had to face that kid if the ball was caught!

No it didn’t, The “extra out” came to bat with two outs in the inning got out on the first pitch

Not sure why we let our guy waste 3 pitches there when I would hope we’re trying to get him another inning.

It would, and he might. But he reared back on those last 2 fastballs and they were both 93. He hit 95 last inning. Really needs to get this guy here.

No idea what the scouting report is. Maybe he's a chaser.
