Win today, take 2 next weekend, win a game or two in Hoover, and a very good shot at the overall #1 seed. Texas won yesterday but I believe they spiraling down and play at OU next weekend.

Who cares.

Top 8 is all that matters.

While possibly true...I'd take my chances playing the 16th seed in Supers vs the 9 seed.

Honestly, I would prefer to not be #1 seed.

Don't want.

Give me something in the 3-6 range.

Or 8 would be fine too

I would hope LSU is a 2 or 3 or 5 seed.

Even if they lose today and win 2/3 next weekend they will definitely be top 5 no matter what happens in Hoover

Single elimination this year right? I'd throw a mid week guy and hope you lose.

Bama is about to take game 2 against Georgia...

I think game 3 starts an hour after this one ends

Yeah idiot...I was watching Mcdonald pitch back in the day. I dgaf if we are #1 or not as long as top 8....was just saying we haven't been in position to be 1 in a while this year and finishing like we appear to be might put us there. Of course, some younger edgy punk gonna act like an idiot. Guarantee seen more and been to more LSU baseball games than you, probably at least twice as many. I've seen you post on here...you one of the little emotional bitches when losing.

I’ll take a 2 or 3 seed.

And if we get to 19 wins, can we skip Hoover? Or treat it like a midweek. Get our starters some rest.

Guys are pussys with this mindset. The narrative that the number one overall seed can’t win it all is ridiculous.

You say that like it's guaranteed. There's no re-seeding so if the 8 seed plays a 3 seed from the regional they were paired with and the 1 seed plays the regional host they were paired with, suddenly the 8 seed has an easier super.

There have been only 2 #1 seeds that have won the title since 1999. Hell only 3 have even made the championship.

I’ll pass on that.
