It’s not malice. It’s incompetence. College umps are a joke and are not at a level to match the interest and money that is now in the sport.
They are also mentally weak and easily advantage the home team and especially teams with better records. I’m sure it’s worked in our favor at times. This year, we are perpetually squeezed. It is what it is.
Most also tend to turn into mini dictators whenever anything is legitimately questioned.
