I would have let Kade come back for at least one batter as good as he looked the previous inning. As hard as he was rolling, he could have had a 3-8 pitch easy inning. But that’s just me.
Little things. Going to Cowan in a tie game was the right move. Pulling him after ~10 pitches was also the right move.

I agree that if you make a move, there’s no doubt who it should have been. But Cowan is human and just didn’t have his best stuff, plus a shite pile for an ump squeezing the hell out of him.
