Pearson was always going to be in the lineup for this team in the postseason. But he doesn't need as many ABs as the others since he's pretty much reached his ceiling so he was an easy guy to take out for Frey, Brown, Larson, etc to let others get ABs

If he keeps this up (including his recent outings), he could slide into Evans’s role if he’s now the third starter.
