Maineri and Dunn have to be the only two people on the Planet that still think Hess is a starter? Talented Kid but HE IS NOT A STARTER and never has been!

Hey no shite!!! They put the ball in play and our guys turn two. We have great players who are worthless if we walk everyone and try to overpower every batter.

Just a vintage CPM move. He will leave a pitcher on the mound to be hung out to dry like no other.

When his tricep got hit I was like gimme 3 innings and you need to rest that. That had to take some mileage out of his arm for tonight.

His issues with pitch count and not being able to go deep into games is not limited to this game. I'm not positive, but I cannot remember a game where he ever went 7 innings. I'm not saying you have to every game, but your friday night guy should be able to consistently give you 6-7 innings. It just fricks your pen for the weekend if they don't. You're supposed to use the pen for the weaker starters, not your best.

Also, to everyone that complains about the ads in alex box, think about how much worse it could be when you hear these two mush mouths try to pronounce ufcu disch falk. They sound like they're talking with a dick in their mouth.

I’ve been on the Hess can be a great starter train since last year. I’m starting to pull the emergency brake now. He just hasn’t developed the command necessary to stay out of high pitch counts.

strike, 3-1
strike, 3-2
pitcher gets scared and runs off the mound

It’s amazing how good your at bats look when you don’t chase crap pitches.

I could understand last year because LSU's pitching was hurting for starter quality arms but this year they got an abundance of them. There's no reason to leave Hess in there like this. Move him back to a closer role where he's phenomenal.

Agree 100% I’m so sick of CPM costing us games b/c of his stubbornness

Reality is, LSU’s options are EXTREMELY limited for starting pitchers this season. Hate to be a Debbie Downer and bearer of bad news but LSU baseball will be irrelevant in the very near future. Cause.....NO PITCHING!
