loses on a fricking bad throw to 1st

That's not what lost the game. The lack of performance at the plate cost us the game, and any hope for postseason action.

Sorry but the bad throw did cost us the game. A good throw completes the double play and we are out of the inning leading 1-0. Marceaux pitched a shut out after that.

True or false: Mo Hampton starts this game if he sticks it out?

LSU bats went silent. Georgia's bullpen was too much for the Tigahs. Marceaux did a superb job. We just simply never know which LSU Baseball Team will show up.

So how many times did LSU load the bases anyway?

That’s 100% Paul Maineiri’s fault

He almost never put the kid in the game when he was trying every kid on the team early in the year.

Yet he couldn’t find room to give a first round draft pick talent a few chances.

Tech baseball coach Tim Tadlock on Monday agreed to a rolling seven-year contract, ostensibly designed to keep him in charge of the Red Raiders for the rest of his career, Tech officials said.

Financial terms were not immediately available. However, Tech officials said A&M's pitch to Tadlock included annual pay starting at $1.2 million, and Hocutt vowed to match that.

You have to think Hampton would have come along with more at bats and he certainly would have been a better option than fricking Cranford.

You’d like to think Hampton wouldn’t have quit baseball mid season or the football team; however, he did.

Maybe he got screwed. Maybe it’s on him , but who knows.

We can play what if all day long, but the facts are the team we fielded this year wasn’t up to our standards, the coaching was lacking and it needs to change now. Blaming one kid for all our woes isn’t the answer.

Still think Tre should have caught that ball. He’s done it all year

Yeah, and if he was asked he would say the same thing. That is a routine play for him. Rantards just trying to find fault anywhere. 1 run doesn't win SEC games, that's the real issue.

So here’s a dumb question... we know the NCAA likes to save money on travel. Will they give LSU a 3 just because Southern will be a 4 and send them to the same regional on the same travel itinerary?????

I hope not
I don’t like playing Southern in regionals, I’d rather them have the opportunity to travel & play someone new & not be under LSU’s shadow
They deserve the chance
