Right now Bovada has LSU at -6.5 (which I know is not good compared to other casinos. It is as low as -5 or -5.5 on other casinos). Do want to put a bet on LSU but was wondering if the line is going to close somewhat as the game gets closer or should I get on it now before the spread gets even bigger

Well, I got in at -3.5 right after the second game. So I'd say it's going up. I'm surprised it hasn't gone up faster.

I doubt it gets over 7. I think anything over a touchdown and the sharps will hammer Clemson at the last minute to bring it back down to 6.5 or lower

-5.5 is right. It might reach -6.5 but won’t stick.

My account is with Bovada and they unfortunately have the highest line on LSU at -6.5 right now. I hate spotting that extra -1 to -1.5 points because so often those small amounts will burn you. But at the same time, If and when LSU gets up in this game, I just don't see them easing or letting up

but also probably more people are going to be betting on LSU and the line is going to open up even more and I should probably get in right now

I don't see it going over -7. Spotting one entire TD in the Natty is rad.

We got it at LSU -1 right after the Fiesta Bowl

It quickly shot up to -6

Public is always on the team that blew out another the week before. Sharps play late and they'll def be on Clemson if this line hangs around here.

I might just wait until game day and get in on LSU when the line moves towards Clemson. I would bet that the line continues to grow and then closes greatly shortly before game time.

I am going to place a small bet now and then go bigger if the line closes a lot right before the game.

I have to have at least something down on LSU

It started at -3 and home field advantage is worth 3, so essentially they were calling it pick em, which is crazy. The game will start the same way as the Semis, except instead of being down 16-0 they will probably be down 28-0. The difference will be that everytime they score in desperation after that, LSU will answer and should comfortably win. I'd like to see Brennan get a quarter of playing time to give Burrow a big curtain call and prep for next year.

It would be a big plus for next year to get Brennan CFP experience in this game but am conflicted because I want to see LSU not let up at all and grind Clemson into the ground

I think it settles at 6 barring any freak injuries or admin bombshells.

This game will not be close. I have a combination of futures on LSU that equate to $450 to win $2500. I could hedge and guarantee ~$1000. This is not a subtle brag post. This is a join me in making money as I lay the points to double down post. You CAN get paid to go to this game.

ETA - Alt line to lsu -10/-10.5 if you can. GET RICH.

Look at us hoping for a full quarter of garbage time in the CFP Final.

I heard on another thread that the line BEFORE we played Saturday, obviously based on LSU and Clemson winning, was Clemson being the favorite over us at -1. I didn't realize a performance like our team had could sway odds makers that much in a matter of hours.

So, take Clemson and the points.
