Tight matchup. Got to lay juice on either team.

Arkansas is now favored to win it all at +195, LSU is +240.

Arky doesn’t have Cooper Williams hiding in the bullpen.

It means the oddsmakers ALMOST have this at a dead even matchup, but they’re giving Arkansas an incredibly small edge.

If you like LSU, you’d have to wager $110 to win $100

If you like Arkansas, you’d have to wager $120 to win $100

They are a more complete team (that we did beat at home). We do not need to be the most complete team. We need to win game 1 with Anderson pitching.

LSU is not the same team as a month ago. We’re better and hotter right now.

I don’t think I’ve ever before seen both sides of a matchup with a negative

This game will determine who wins this side of the bracket.

Neither LSU or Arkansas have pitching to lose game 1, win 2 more games, then try to beat the other twice

Didn't have the pitching in 2023 either, but some how won the whole f****ing thing.

Anything can happen in Omaha. Good teams go two and bar b Que, ok teams run deep, and there can be madness.

It’d be easier to win game one but not the end of the world if we don’t.

This makes it so much easier the rest of the way. Stay in the winner's bracket and face an inferior team the rest of the way. Not a cake walk, but a huge advantage.

Actually both teams have the pitching to come all the way back if they lose game 1, it just isnt likely

Both LSU and Arkansas are both pretty damn good and peeking at the right time. Hopefully we’re the ones to continue it.

LOL

So are they. You don't think they are hot too coming off smashing Tenn 4 out of 5 games since we played them? All teams are hot now having won two rounds of the tournament.

Yep. Obviously, I'm not as familiar with Arkansas, but we have at least 3 or 4 guys, outside of KA and AE, who can be very good to great when they are on and give us enough quality innings to get us through. The problem is consistently doing that, so it is a crap shoot if it goes there.

Did it in 2023 and we didn’t have the most consistent bullpen then either

I’d say whoever loses game 1 can still win the bracket. Thats how good lsu and Arkansas are. This could be a 3 game series winner take all to play for a title.
