University of Louisiana is a SYSTEM not a school. UL-M is a part of the UL SYSTEM as is ULL.

FINALLY - somebody says the truth.
Every school in the UL system had the opportunity to change their name to UL ( enter name of location). Only the schools in Lafayette and Monroe chose to change their names to include UL ***. Why this is so hard for the folks at UL Lafayette to get is beyond me. I understand they want to do an end run to get some kind of non-regional identity but it ain’t going to happen.
I’m just surprised the powers that be in Baton Rouge don’t man up and put a stop to it.
