1987 LSU VS Ohio State was the loudest game I've been to. It was loud the entire game when Ohio State had the ball. I'm sure some recent games have beat it.

With very limited personal experience compared to most on the Rant I'm, going all the way back to the 1961 Ole Miss game.
Probably louder because of Stadium expansion I'll also mention the Auburn game when they stomped on the "eye of the tiger at midfield" and some Auburn player were on the field after half-time as the LSU band was exiting.

The loudest game is up for debate, that's for sure and I've been to all of them.
The loudest MOMENTS were right after the final score of the USC-Stanford game was announced during the '07 Florida game.
EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE - LSU fans, Florida fans and BOTH benches absolutely LOST THEIR MINDS for about 3 or four minutes.

This. Easily the loudest single moment. Every single person present in the stands and field went apeshit. It was at the beginning of a timeout so the crowd went apeshit until the next play was run. UF fans were going just as nuts as the LSU fans. Without a doubt the most electric/best LSU game I've been to.
One game y'all are all overlooking: 2008 Bama. The blocked kick to send it to OT was so loud I couldn't hear myself think.

Right behind that was Hodson to Fuller vs Auburn. Earthquake !
Skyler Green's td catch vs UGA in '03 was incredibly loud too.

79 USC, 82 FSU, 03 UGA. The three loudest I've been to. That was back when we still played Saturday night games, the fans were still unhinged and Tiger Stadium was still Death Valley!
