It was an wierd feeling to hear an LSU crowd get louder after giving up the lead. I get goosebumps just thinking about that. The LSU LSU LSU chant vs UGA was great. The UF-LSU game in 07 was ridiculous when they announced the USC score. In 97 I remember holding my hands over my ears as 6 year old kid multiple times during that game.

Earthquake game.
2000 Tenn, 2003 UGA, 2007 UF were all loud too.

Cedric Donaldson's 2nd interception against Florida in 1997 and the blocked field goal against Alabama this past season were the two loudest moments I can remember in Tiger Stadium. The Alabama game was prob the loudest, mainly due to the fact there were about 11-12k more people @ the game. It was complete bedlam.

+1, maybe the loudest 8-10 seconds in TS history

1. LSU v FlA- 2008: The Swamp is truly an awesome atmosphere inside the stadium. That place was rocking that night.
2. LSU v Tenn- 2000: Saban's first "Big" game in Tiger Stadium. Electric atmosphere the whole evening. I was in the student section, so I'm sure the noise was even more amplified.
3. LSU v Fla- 1997- Great Day. Great Game. Dinardo, Herb Tyler, Tommy Banks, and Ced Donaldson brought back the magic that night.

finally someone mentioned what was actually THE loudest TS has been in the last decade, Tenn 2000 ... The crowd shut them down... it was like a static white noise.... it was by far louder than any of the other big games in the last 10 years, I went to all of them

I have been to nearly every home game since '01
Georgia 03 was the most consistent loud noise that I have ever been to (besides the NC in the Dome that year)
I haven't seen anyone mention the 5th missed field goal by Auburn in OT in 2005...that got pretty loud
of course UF 2007, Auburn 2007 and Bama 2008

LSU vs USC '79 whole game.....whore refs robbed LSU of a certain victory with the facemask call on Benji Thibodeaux(sp)....at the time, that was NOT a facemask call at all.....but still the loudest game ever from start to finish, not counting other "moments" which were louder that have been mentioned on here.....
Earthquake game vs Auburn (but only for the last moments, mind you, but it was a whole tense defensive game's worth of pent-up energy EXPLODING all at once......(and Waco, it was '88, not '87...no disrespect, I know you know that but just had to say the right year....); I picked up and man-hugged ole Ruben Barios, who outweighed me by at least 100 pounds at the time, and we did our best to contribute to the earthquake effect......
Surprisingly, not much mentioned here, the '87 Notre Dame Game, after LSU's South End Zone Goal Line Stand, in which LSU beat them 21-19, I believe....that one was also pretty loud.....(?)... anybody remember that game?

Georgia/LSU 03. Best game I have ever been to. That includes both NC's.

End of regulation of the 08 Bama Game.
83 Washington Game was extremely loud.

It might be because i was so young but these games to me (as a kid) seemed louder than anything in the last 10 years except maybe the Fla game in BR in 2007.
1. USC game of 79 from beginning to end
2. LSU beats Ole Miss in 72 by 1 pt on last play
3. LSU beats Notre Dame 28-8 in BR in early 70s
4. LSU beats Ole Miss in a late night game in December in 1970 61-17 with oranges pouring out of the stands and Archie Manning playing with a broken arm
5. Ole Miss beats LSU 27-24 in BR in 68 with Archi e as a sophmore

LSU vs Florida 2008 in gainesville - 3rd play from scrimmage mccray mistimes his jump and harvin takes it all the way home
Harvin pushes off on McCray, no call, touchdown Gators...there, fixed it.
