re: SAINTS BAR IN ATL?

Dark Horse in the Highlands. Just started this year. They ordered Abita beer, have pretty good etouffee actually and hired a homeless guy to play a trumpet when we score. Tons of people there for the Vikes game. Good times.

Lots of people stay downtown by the dome close to where the team stays. If you want to go out, stay in Buckhead. Lots of Tiger fans out there night before the game.
How are finding the U in HD? I also don't have an 883. I have all HD stations I can get and don't see an 883.

I do love having the sports package though. They showed so many great old games this August. And they show replays of Sat games all week long.

re: Over or Under 8 1/2 games?

Where did you find 8 1/2? Is this a website or a bet with a friend? Vegas has 9 as the over/under from what I've seen. I think over is a better bet than under on 9 wins. 8 1/2 wouldn't be a lock, but it would be a great bet worth a lot of my money.
I have a bad feeling that Storm is the next Christine Michael. I hope that Lache is not the next Trent Richardson.
We don't have to get this guy. But we want him. He is going to be an outstanding player. I hope we get him.
Florida is not only the top program of the SEC this decade, they are the top program nationally. LSU is solidly second in the SEC and may be second nationally. Texas is right there. There are some others but I like the Tigers for #2. Been a great decade.
Even with the JT Wise screw up, Maineri has been better than we could have expected.

Amazing that a guy could get that ripped eating only plants.

As usual there are almost as many comments about USC here as on USC boards.

The head coach of a major college program just resigned because of an NCAA investigation into cheating. This is going to be discussed on a "more sports board."

Although it is really early and we have very little idea what Hilliard it thinking and how that will change, there are more and more kids demanding that they be offered and recruited early in the process. Les likes to hold off on offers and wait until at the kids' junior seasons (understandably). We'll see if that will cost us a few kids in the near future.
I load both the audio and video in two windows and turn down the volume on their announcers.
2011 looks like a banner for La. If history is a good indicator, we should get four or five of these guys.

re: Is Austin Nola a Liability for Us?

Beaux, you are right that Nola has been weak at the plate, and this is disconcerting.

But there is more to making out a lineup than putting in the best hitters and fielders. Chemistry is important for a team. Skip was the best at managing this. He always found the move or change that was needed to spark the team. For whatever reason, the team is winning and winning big after moving Nola to short. Good coaches just let it ride in this situation.
Lane is one of my all time fav Tigers. I played with and against him growing up in BR. Then the game that he threw against Tulane in the first game of the 2001 super reg was one of the best games a Tiger has ever thrown.

Since PM made the change, the team has been winning. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

Even though we took 2 of 3 from, they looked real good in that series. Looked like they had a tough lineup and at least decent pitching. Their collapse has been a surprise.
Earthquake game.

2000 Tenn, 2003 UGA, 2007 UF were all loud too.
I'm not sure how the books work. But I went last year and just walked up and bought tickets for the Saturday and Sunday games. That's the way to do it. There are always tickets. Don't buy the book, just buy them when you get there.
