That opinion is based on past success at Alabama, coupled with their recruiting success. I say that if you are number one in recruiting every year. Then you should have better depth than everybody else. The battle is won on the playing field, and nothing else matters. Everyone has excuses this year. Can we say that we were the better team last year,but we had a bad scheme. The only thing that mattered was 29-0. If you lose,you are not the best. Their talent level is the main reason why they don't have to win the conference to make the playoffs every year. I know that there are not many teams that can match their talent level. But they were healthy for that beat down against Clemson last year. This Alabama bias based on talent level has got to end. If you lose,you are not the best and everything else is irrelevant.
