That’s the difference right now. Add on that some of our average guys are underperforming big time and this is what you get.

#2 team in the country? a half game out of first place in the toughest conference in CBB and a virtual lock for a national seed?

i'll take it!

They probably should have cut most of the bullpen from last year and brought in more guys from the portal. Whatever reason this group of guys have not developed.

LSU seems to get bit by big pitching injuries every year that affect its bullpen.

I get it totally. It’s been one hell of a season so far. I’m thinking big picture at this point though. And big picture is Omaha.

I never did catch Noot's injury did he get TJ surgery? Or did they just shut him down for the year as precautionary?

I’m upset we lost at home to state the 2nd worst team in the league. I watched them look god awful against Arky.

Noot and Appleby might very well have been positive help for us as well.

Losing all five of those guys probably ruined what could have been a magical season.

It's not over, but this bullpen can't be counted on. It's a time bomb waiting to go off in our face every game.

Yeah it’s starting to show but what is wild to me is last year we literally had Cooper Reylzymen and Gervase and we’re one out away to a super

Cooper has digressed which is crazy I thought Wes was the best coach in the game period.

Fix the tucking bullpen

And yet this team still has only loss one SEC series all year. This team would be on the elite level if those arms are healthy right now.

He's got to clear out the staff. He's got too many kids who simply can't lock in when we need it.

It's not that we have guys who just need development. Hurd and Little and Collins and Cooper and Ackenhousen are veteran arms.

They just can't pitch. Period. We've got to go out and get killers in the portal.

You guys act like other high profile teams don't lose multiple high quality arms every season and yet the continue to remain competitive. I don't know if this were Wes Johnson's 2nd year if things would be significantly better, but arms better be priority 1. Hitting sucked other than Tanks and solo homers from Travinsky and Thompson. Crews has to start hi5ing again and Jones' was awful again on outside pitches.
