Maybe it was just a slow sports day in Los Angeles but I was here last night and surprised at the favorable coverage LSU got on the local news and the amount of time given to the SECCG during the segment and they made favorable comments about Burrow and the Heisman and LSU getting the 1 seed.

Would not have expected The SEC or LSU to get much coverage here on local news and certainly did not expect it to be so favorable and positive to LSU.

It's b/c they know we are going nationwide for our players and Cali is not off limits.

Favorable coverage of an LA team in LA? What's there to be surprised about?

They all have a soft spot in their heart for Coach O.

Coach O would have them crushing it and they know the missed opportunity.

Media is pouring bleach into the USC Athletic Department eyes for their head coaching decision clusterfuk. Coach O was the interim HC and the players wanted him. The AD told Orgeron to kick rocks and the USC football program is reaping what they sow. Lots of Coach O fans and support in Los Angelos

LA probably a good place to make a movie about him, too.

Exactly what it is. The USC media out there gets scorned easily and voice so when it happens. Coach O is loved by them and USC fans and our wins, his wins, here are their wins in a small way.

2 reasons

1. Not Alabama
2. USC fans love Orgeron.
3. Purple and Gold is popular in L.A.

Edited to say: I thought of 3 reasons not 2.

A lot of love for Coach O out here!
LA Times just ran an article on Coach John Robinson and his move to Louisiana to join the LSU staff. Great stuff!

The short dick syndrome everyone in the south has about California doesn't apply in reverse, generally

Local sports radio here always talks about Ed O and they love him still. Saw Ed exercising at the Venice Beach park, he is out here a lot recruiting.

I have some very close friends who are USC grads and live in LA. They all LOVE Orgeron and told me I was wrong to discredit us hiring him. He is loved hard out there.
