Qb1 has been playing stronger ball since the ole Miss game. He’s staring to settle in to the system.

Wait so a talented QB is improving week by week in a Lane Kiffin system???

Folks need to finally understand we are in a new era. BK is a nightmare long long gone

The hamstring injury was the best thing to happen to him. I think he trusts his arm alot more now that he cant run as effectively, and Kiffin spoke on this after TAMU

Wrong. Players are incapable of improving. The Rant knows, that's why we're skipping Clark and Longstreet and requesting Lane go straight to Kaden Martin to start vs Kentucky.

Unhealed trauma because issues tended to be season long issues that never got fixed in the BK era. It’s different times under Kiffin

Only bad rep he had that game. He was excellent in pass protection outside of that. Had an 83 pass blocking grade from PFF

It truly was his only bad rep from his game had a strong day in pass pro otherwise. He’s a talented tackle his bad plays tho are simply frustrating if he can become more consistent you have a damn good SEC tackle

Touché. It’s great seeing the complete opposite

I remember that throw from in the stadium, and thought WTF. Mechanics looked terrible live, but still an excellent throw.

Watching it on tape, the mechanics aren’t as bad as I originally thought. He couldn’t step up, and wasn’t completely off the back foot like most QBs would do in that situation.

Some QBs just have the ability to make types of throws others can’t. Good to see Sam does.

Esp since their will be many times agaisnt better sec competition that your gonna have to make throws in muddy pockets not being able to step up in it. Sam has the arm strength to drive the ball without a clean pocket that will be valuable when we play teams like bama and Texas

I think ever since he got hurt during A&M and absolutely had to sit in the pocket and go through his other reads instead of running, he's been a lot better at spreading the ball around. I love what I'm seeing.

Some of his layered throws vs A&M were about as good as it gets.

The QB critics on the Rant couldn’t make that throw on their Xbox

nice read anticipated clearing zone, led him and dropped it in. actually looked like a deep cross and not a true corner route.

hole in zone was there being that LB was in a hook and not a buzz zone. buzz woulda taken away that corner.
