That right there...Saban had enough skins on the wall to give the benefit of the doubt to
You can’t lump he and O in the same category and say hey well bad losses happen to great coaches when O hasn’t done anything to show he’s even a good coach much less great

Looks like few respect the caliber of football in I-AA. To bad, cause you are missing some great games year round. I-AA play a 20 game playoff that offers some great matchups.
No, we should not have lost the game, but this happens year in & year out. Thinking this was really the best thing that happened to this team. The youngsters, future leaders, will not forget & remind all every time they come up against a non D-1 or lower tier team.

sigh..... i guess i have to do it.
saban before lsu= turned the Cleveland Browns into the #1 defense in the NFL( literally #1) then took over a program coming off sanctions and finished top 10.
Sigh...good for you. All that and Saban still lost to UAB and ULM in his first seasons at LSU and Bama. Did those two teams not get the memo of what Saban's accomplishments were? DAMN !!!

the bad loss was the outlier of Saban's career.
A bad loss that should have never happened occurring once is an outlier. Happening twice at two different schools seems more like a pattern to me.

the bad loss is what Ed Orgeron's head coaching career is built upon.
this is really stupid. Even for you.
If it is what his career is built upon, how did he beat Auburn and wind up 9-3 with a chance at 10 wins and a top 10 finish in the polls this year?

Nobody needs to tell theirself anything. They were all 3 very bad losses.
Actually, due to the fact what Saban turned out to be, much better than O, an easy argument could be made they were much more embarrassing losses. Troy is better than either of those teams.

Just my opinion. I don’t expect you to care. Settle down.

Hope this thread has you totally bummed.
Why does it bother so much? If you actually take time to read my posts, I’ve been plenty complimentary of O. Not whining about anything. Why so sensitive?

They're Troy. We should never lose to them.
You can say that (and I generally agree), but we should have lost to them the first two times we played them. It was a complete miracle the last time we beat them. And they took Clemson's national title winning team down to the wire last year losing 30-24. They don't have SEC talent, but they are not a joke of a team at all. Their name is pretty crappy though.

because in 4 years as a head coach he has won more than 2 conf games once.

There's no giving doubt. He lost to two teams he should have beaten in his first year at both LSU and Bama. His past didn't prevent him from losing those games and hasn't hurt his career since.

They are both lumped in the same category for losing to teams they should have beat in their first seasons at LSU. There is NO WAY to argue that fact away.

Saban's accomplishments had proven he was a good coach.

his best win ever is over a 3 loss team.let that sink in.his 33 year career as a coach and his mountain top is a win over a 3 loss team

Just can't let go of last decade. Good for you.
How did last decade pan out this season. Do you think it made the 9-3 record and potential 10-3 season worse. Or did last decade actually make this year's 9-3 record and potential 10-3 season better?
I'm curious how you think last decade affected this season for LSU. Thanks for your response.

I dgaf what skins, a bad fkn loss is a bad fkn loss. Only you narrow minded trolls think that way. It's like Fisher...he won blew nuts this year, and some of last year.

People should realize when their disdain for a certain coach clouds their thoughts and judgements with the things they say and post.
This spinning wheel of daily Ed O hate is old.
These stupid fricks should really find something better to do. Pathetic miserable "fans"

bad losses are the norm for ed Orgeron's career.

A 3-loss team that won the SEC West, beat a team in the NC playoffs and also played in the SEC championship game. Let that sink in.

And still has a chance in his first season at LSU to have 10 wins and finish in the top 10 in the polls. Not to bad, huh? Regardless of history encompassing two separate decades.

Well Rick, it is going to be hard as hell on you looking up at the winning % of this career dl coach that nobody wanted...when his win % is higher than your hero.
Btw. You have gone complete psycho the more O wins and proves you to be a complete idiot. It's like the more he wins, the more you attack. It is killing you that he is soon to have higher win % than your idol
