They were the best in the belt and had a convincing 62-7 win over Texas state they probably should have been ranked

And for LSU to end up at #16 with a loss to Troy, is OK to accept, not something we want to accept, but not bad.

They are a mediocre team who plays in a terrible conference. Their strength of schedule was ranked over 100. We can try to put perfume on this stink of that loss as much as we want, but it will still smell like rotting fish.
It’s amusing to me that for years we have been told that 10 wins don’t mean crap for an LSU, but now 10 wins by a Troy or by a LSU is special or over achieving cause we didn’t totally screw up the yr.
