How can you not lay the blame at Orgerons feet for an objectively bad loss when he himself has already taken the blame for the loss? Do you realize how dumb you sound?

you have to realize youre talking to someone that has, on many occasions, said O was unjustly fired at ole miss and his time at ole miss was decent.

Their 4 year recruiting ranking is in the 60s, their team talent composite doesn’t even crack the top 50

they dont have single top 95 class since 2012 according to 24/7.

And its not like it was A fluke win.. They outplayed us and pushed us around..

That was way more disturbing...

And I know you don't like hearing this but O did get the team to rebound from that loss....

i dont have and have never had a problem with anyone saying O stopped the team from having a horrible season.

but yeah Troy really dominated us.
with 7 minutes left in the game we were down 24-7.

you know u have given O props when hw deserves them.

This is true....and the loss falls squarely on O

But, I still say Troy is not that bad. They have 11 wins...they've played us close before at home....and could beat 5 or 6 teams right now in the SEC on any given night.

Bad loss but not as bad as Cuse/Clemson IMO.

When are you forgiven, when you lose to ULM, when you lose to Ala Birmingham? These Troy obsessed people really need to move on.

Saban won the SEC and the Sugar Bowl the year after the loss to UAB at LSU and in 2008 the year after losing to ULM at Bama he won the West, going 8-0 in the SEC and lost to eventual national champion UF. I'd say if O wins the West next year, I will have basically completely fricking forgotten we even played Troy this year.

I highly doubt they could beat 5-6 SEC teams....

Yeah, but you also went on to say
quote:

Losing to Troy was a mutha fricker and shouldn't have happen.

But other than Gerogia and BAMA, all of the top ten teams took a loss to someone they should not have lost to.

And for LSU to end up at #16 with a loss to Troy, is OK to accept, not something we want to accept, but not bad.

You should just leave it at Losing to Troy was a mutha fricker and shouldn't have happen.
If you put whip cream and a cherry on top of shite, then it becomes bullshite

I don't. LSU beat 6 SEC teams.

still doesn't change the fact that losing to Troy, at home, should never happen. if anything, its more of a commentary of how weak the SEC was this year.

May not make the folks on here feel any better, but they're obviously not the dogs we thought they were

And this is the thinking that has LSU stuck with Ed O

LSU was down 24-7 with 8 minutes to go in the game, IN TIGER STADIUM!!! We were lucky they didn't keep pressing, or the lose would have been by at least 2 TDs In 2015 a 9-3 LSU team beat a 12-2 Western Kentucky team (that won their conference championship) by 28 points, in a downpour. They had exactly one other loss on their schedule, and that was to another power 5 team on the road, by 3 points.

It does not matter what you say. That Troy loss was an incredibly bad loss.
