Due to a violent incident during last weeks game. Implementing 30 and over on game days and increasing security. Among other things

I used to love Bayou.

Neyow’s becoming so big really fricked them

They’ve tried 20% auto grat, playing country music, carding, it just hasn’t worked.

It’s sad

BBG isn’t alone in dealing with this shite. I know another similar bar is having problems with that crowd every Sunday and is having to explore options.

It's a great spot, wasn't ghettofied last time I went. Tchoup Yard is so much closer to me and I'm pretty good friends with Trevor.

Reminds me of the Boot after Katrina. Signs everywhere that said “Fiesta Privada.”

Does anyone remember Bridge Lounge? I’m pretty sure they redesigned to turn into a whiskey bar (Barrel Proof) just to get rid of that crowd.

Yeah Bridge Lounge got nuts.

I’ve talked with certain people at BBG about what they need to do to no avail.

You are a beer and wine bar. Revamp as being that. Get rid of the frozen drinks. Get rid of the pool table in the beer side. Get rid of sweet cocktails. Hell get rid of cocktails all together for a time. Get rid of doing shots. We sell beer and wine. The end.

You just have to get rid of certain hard liquors - Patron, Hennesey, Courvoisier, etc.

Yes, but the women drink the froses and sweet cocktails

You probably have to get rid of all of it, or just have basics like Jack and coke and that sort of thing

Its gotten worse over the past decade. When Neyow's exploded in popularity and expanded it started getting more and more like that.

its gone through some cycles. They changed some things up that helped briefly

But then it got REALLY out of control and they started grasping at straws. 20% auto grat on tips. Playing rock and country music. I had an off the record convo with someone that used to work there and they said really did not know what to do, that they had to go to the autograt because tips had completely gone away essentially as the crowd that used to come there started going elsewhere

I went once or twice last year during a game and they were carding etc

I haven't been there in awhile but this is the worst its been it appears.

Edit: I totally forgot that I went there for a game last year and we stayed for about 5 minutes and I was deeply uncomfortable with the crowd as it was getting very large, rowdy and some other things, got up and left and went elsewhere
