It wasn’t the ?’n. It was all the disrespect & hate he got. Everyone wanted Herman or Jimbo but when that didn’t happen and I really looked at the available coaches I started realizing he may be the best fit. I had faith but it was little faith early on.

We get it. You don't believe in second chances and are just a half empty miserable person with some serious personality disorders along the way. That is OK. Which should goes to show you 1) how hard it is to win a NC, 2)there are other good teams out there besides the team finishing at the top for recruiting and 3) finishing with top 3 or 5 classes every year does not guarantee success. A productive culture, good coaching, solid S&C program and yes a little luck with the injury thing are involved among other factors.

This is true and I'm sure the coaching staff knows this as well. We have a couple olineman and dlineman committed and are leading on many more 4-stars. We will be fine. It is April after all, this class is far from complete.

I will name it mr neg. 1) when is the last time a key off season coaching hire (Brady) is already paying dividends on the recruiting trail and there are real indications (spring game, folks' observations in spring) that the offense is already improving. 2) When did LSU ever at 245 recruiting points in the consensus recruiting rankings in April. 3) Heck has any other program ever earned those many recruiting points this early. 3) I forget when LSU last had 4 Cali recruits and so much diversity with OOS recruiting AND have the number one projected class at this point. Please tell me when was the last time...
So yeah he is doing something different. Yes, it must translate on the field and no these things do not guarantee NCs. But it sure is a heckuva start in the right direction and different trajectory than the last two years under Miles and the start of O's tenure. So, yes, things have changed for the better.
Now we know you and a few other posters hate O with a passion. A couple of posters here are really sick. But at least try to see all angles of the situation. If you can't well so be it. But why be so....OBTUSE!!

The NEVER O's are praying the program goes up in flames. This is all about the inflated egos of a small band of idiots on this board. They are either a bunch of insecure losers who are probably failures in life, business, relationships etc., folks with personality defects, simply a...e m..f...s, don't like O's background or don't believe in second chances. There are also some slick Gump imposters. They still use students and shadow staff to spread rumors and pose as LSU fans. Has been going on for years.
