Kendall has nothing to do with it going forward. He was protecting his broadcast rights over the weekend. He couldn't care less about illegal streaming of LSU games not broadcast by d1 baseball. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

I think they're implying that due to being shut down over the weekend they're shut down for good. No idea of how true that is, but I have to think Cajunomics has been shut down before and just kept chugging along.

I have DirecTV and it shows the game on as scheduled.

I don't get the PPV message on my schedule lineup at this point. I have always had the DirecTV package with all of the regional sports networks included in it. There is a monthly surcharge for these channels that is part of my monthly bill. My guess is that the people that have DirecTV and show that there is an additional charge for this game do not have all the regional sports networks as part of their subscription.

At any rate, I'll post back on Tuesday as the game comes on to let everyone know if it is on as usual.

They didn't completely shut him down as I was able to watch all 3 games. I don't know if LHN cares about it or not, but clearly ESPN doesn't. The link I have has been posted here many times.

Specturm has it which is the only reason I'll be able to catch it. But it is still sucks. When they join the SEC that network goes away?

I'd think so but not many games after this Texas game won't be on SECN+ and like the other poster said, ESPN can give two shits about it being rebroadcasted on YouTube. Just more viewers for them.

Longhorn Network is the worst idea ESPN ever had.
Even in Texas, there were local communities and cable systems that refused to pass along the additional charges to their customers . . . customers that included, of course, Aggies.

The whole thing has been a flop. Their original plan of televising high school games of their recruits was shot down almost immediately by the NCAA.

The programming is awful. I think they replay the 2005 season's Rose Bowl every other night.
The constant cameras supposedly drove Tom Herman nuts, though Sarkisian, who's a bit of a poser, seems to enjoy the attention.

Point is, Longhorn Network has zero viewing interest outside of their alumni base. ESPN made a terrible mistake, and I'll bet whoever's idea it was has long since been fired by the network.

The SEC will "fire" the Longhorn Network after next season. Sankey has already indicated that.

Texas has always considered itself special and entitled to special treatment. They are convinced now that with unlimited NIL funds they will buy their way back into the big-time.

LSU fans need to quit worrying about the University of Texas. Since 2003 the only thing Texas leads LSU in is
disappointing head football coaches, overrated recruiting classes that couldn't pee a drop and drugged-up cows on the sideline that get worked up when they see a dog.

Longhorn network is history once Texas joins SEC. Will be included in SEC network. With two more SEC teams there will more competition in pecking order for network broadcasting and game times. Major network deals, ESPN and SEC networks. Could be less favorable times for LSU.
