I don't remember any of Larson's in particular. Cresse, Mouton, Belle for the righties

Furniss & Justin Bowles for the lefties

Honorable mention to Matt Clark & Blake Dean. They'd make the list if they had the bats & balls as the rest

But like I said. Matt LaPorta is the answer to the OP

Herbert Perry. Florida. 1991 SEC Tournament at the old Box. Rain had played havoc with the tournament and the games were all shortened to 7 innings. Bertman didn't give a shite about winning and he had David "Duck" Herry pitching. Herry was probably the last pitcher on the depth chart. Anyways, Perry hit one into the lights behind the left field fence and I swear it was still rising when it got there.

ETA...Herry wasn't as bad as I thought. 4-2 record in 91, ERA about 3.50

Leon Landry put one through the north stadium/Nicholson intersection in a scrimmage at the old box.

I broke into The Box one night in the 80's to play against some friends. I hit one out that I estimate to be 500+ ft.

Mouton hit the apartments… maybe broke a window. Walker and Furniss both sent one over the right field lights. Those are the biggest I personally witnessed. The ones over the lights looked like they went into orbit because they disappeared into the night sky.

I think a dude from Ole Miss jacked one too. Will Clark was also notable.

It was definitely with the old bats. Jim Bowie and Albert Belle hit some serious bombs. Mouton may have hit the longest LSU homer until at old rosenblatt vs UF and Larson hit one dead center at a AAA ballpark vs Georgia that the announcers said had never happened in that park..I think it was a 40ft high wall/batters eye

Well, I think I stand corrected. I don't think theball LaPorta hit was at the box, think it was in Hoover. Looking at box scores. He never hit one at the box. Does Hoover have a rooftop in LF? I know I'm not dreaming

The longest one I have seen hit at the old Box was Wilkerson from Florida.

The longest I have ever seen hit was by Eddy Furniss @ SLU in a midweek game.
