4.

At 3 loses , you can still go 10-3 which is respectable.

It’s a done deal unless he wins out. We looked like dog shite last night.

Should be 5

Hopefully Bama lays a 50-0 on them to help things out

He'd basically have to win out to keep his job. Woody dislikes him, the administration is tired of his off the field antics and they feel they can fire him with cause for Title IX issues, etc.

He's a dead man walking. Just a matter of when, not if.

No way. That means he loses only one game for the remainder of the seasons. Nobody gets fired for that.

My guess is:

3: No chance
4: little chance (depends on perceived trajectory)
5: most likely gone (depends on trajectory and what the team looks like)
6: he’s history

9-3 he is completely safe.

7-5 he is gone and it won’t really be argued by anyone

8-4 and you are going to see a full court propaganda press by Ponamskg and his media lackies to keep him around

It is part of the job.
Coaches get paid a lot of money to win.
They do not win they know they are gone.

If the team has improved over prior years then you can say it is a young team .
Right now unfortunately the team seems like it is going backwards from last year.

I see them maybe letting him stay until after Bama unless things get worse.

Say he loses to UK in a close game, then later loses to Bama without getting completely embarrassed.

7-5 with upset wins against UF and Ole Miss…does he still get canned? I honestly don’t know.

I think SEC record over last two years are what matters.
5-5 last year
This year I don’t see better ten 3-5
So 8-10 last two years should cost O his job

So is a 5-5 and a 6-6 season 2 years in a row enough?

I don’t think the total number will matter. If we lose the next 2, that’s 3 in a row and I think he’s shite canned.

I hope they don’t fire him without the right guy lined up to replace him

But a decent chance he’s gone after his next loss anyway

It's amazing how he has allowed to this program to achieve such lows. We have a lot of talent. The 5th best according to 247 Sports. I could understand underperforming a little and being ranked around 20-25. But LSU is middle of the pack in CFB and 12 or 13 in the SEC. Things are pretty bad right now and the kids are terribly coached. The defense has gotten a little better but still needs a lot of improvement but the offense has regressed. The program is not in good shape right now.

With that said I do not believe it will take a lot for the program to get well quickly . The program just needs better leadership. Coach O is lost right now.
