To be fair, it fits in perfectly with the cheap look of the place.

This is embarrassing. Hopefully Woodward squashes this. Looks really low rent.

You don't think he signed off or even perhaps came up with the idea?
If he was in the loop for designing this thing I'll just have to chalk it up to all that time he spent in College Station.

I can't wait for ell_13 to see this and chime in. If you think his diatribe about the new right-field scoreboard was ballistic...

This is what they sent me. Basically $100 a person before any food or beer.

Thanks for reaching out! We are currently offering this package for the majority of the SEC games this season. This new loge-seating experience package is great for groups to watch the game in a relaxed environment and will provide you with VIP experiences unlike any other before!

We will be offering 6 boxes (three on the first base side, three on the first base side) available for select games. One group could rent 1 or more boxes per game. Here is a pricing breakdown:
• One Box = $400 - 4 reserved tickets, 1 parking pass, pre-game field access, Champions Club Access, coaches "chalk talk", pre-game tour of MLB locker room at Alex Box.
o Can add up to two additional tickets for $100/ticket (max of six tickets)
• Two Boxes = $1,000 - 10 reserved tickets, 2 parking passes, pre-game field access, Champions Club Access, coaches "chalk talk", pre-game tour of MLB locker room at Alex Box.
o Can add up to two additional tickets for $100/ticket (max of 12 tickets)
• Three Boxes = $1,500 - 15 reserved tickets, 3 parking passes, pre-game field access, Champions Club Access, coaches "chalk talk", pre-game tour of MLB locker room at Alex Box.
o Can add up to five additional tickets for $100/ticket (max of 20 tickets)
o Option for catered food for additional.
This opportunity will be in limited supply! Please let me know if you have any questions or if you interested in reserving your loge-seating for an upcoming game!

I hate all this marketing-speak bullshite.

What does "unique pre-game opportunity" even mean?

Pretty much ripped this off from ULL but it was poorly executed.

They certainly didn't rip it off of ULL. It's not a new concept.

I like it. Both teams lineups stay on it the entire game and it always highlights who is up next to bat. Plus it is used between innings for informational stuff and announcements (not ads).

It’s still ugly and out of place.

How is someone supposed to sit in a relaxed setting with friends in that “VIP area” when dozens of standing room only fans will be hanging right next to you in the rail and ropes?
My guess is the area behind those loge seating areas will be off limits to SRO ticket holders.

Alex Box, again, desperately trying to stay relevant. Embarrassing.

To be fair to ell, Alex Box is ugly compared to some of the newer parks in the conference.
