You’re correct, that’s what was ruled in court yesterday. But if you don’t think the SEC and NCAA have enough power to find a loophole to frick LSU over, you’re going to be really surprised.

The NCAA has already been proven to not be able to do shite. Every single school that has told them to frick off has won. And shortly they wont even exist when super conferences are formed.
The SEC is clearly too stupid to be capable of fighting shite in court. The head of the entire organization got embarrassed on the stand yesterday. LSU made them look like morons without actually having to do anything.

Quit panicking, nothing is going to happen to LSU. This is all media drama, LSU is not really destroying or negatively hurting anything, or trying to do anything unacceptable.
Evidence? Dr Pepper commercial. Seriously. That's a big national investor in college football, their Fansville commercials will be on every game on every network.
They have Lane Kiffin appearing in a commercial, with the tongue in cheek "you can't keep doing this!" remark. They released this commercial AFTER this eligibility legal stuff was underway, after there was a TRO placed by the judge... which they were aware of. They could have just shelved that ad, if there was any real problems that they perceived. They didn't.
They didn't have any Texas Tech or Sorsby bits, they aren't touching that. That's a serious issue.
It's all playing "Lane Kiffin is the bad boy of college football" crap, which is the same as the old Miami "The U" stuff. It's a role that Lane embraces.
If this were actually something more, Kiffin would be toxic to advertisers, not a hot commodity.

No one has been sued yet. But, you can bet on the fact that there are lawyers lining up across the country to test this out. Antitrust litigation can bring treble damages.
