Tiger fans will be banging on the door at 6-7am. I sure would open that early to ring up drinks, especially screw gees and bloody marys

The perfect plan is to hit up Harry's at 8, get smashed, then score some coke to get you straight for the game.

Do NOT go to Wild Wills. Not the worst place in the world, but not worth visiting with all the other great choices. Stick to Armory Square. That means Blue Tusk, Empire Brewery, Kitty Hoynes, etc. All wonderful bars and people.

Harry's, at least when I was a student at SU, was sketchy as hell but we went there every Monday because they had 50 cent Bud bottles and free wings for MNF. It was also the place to be if you wanted to buy cocaine, so I'm told.

So I guess if you've got any Tony Montanas in your groups, it's your best bet?

Then again, I graduated in '03 so things could have changed in the 12 years since then.

Sounds perfect. See y'all there

Syracuse fans think they can hold their own.
"In Syracuse, we do like to drink, responsibly of course," said Butler. "It's funny, I heard people talking about that 'drink us dry' comment at the gym this morning, and one guy said, 'I take that as a personal challenge.'"As for LSU's charge to drink the town dry, Butler wishes them good luck and also wants to know, "Do you know what town you're coming to?"

We heard this in Seattle, Dallas and Morgantown and once it was over, they didn't know what hit them.

I actually agree with this 100%. It's not like we are going to Ruston. It's a big city with a huge craft beer scene and unique restaurants. I think that quote about "drinking it dry" was prob referring to the north end of campus. Their downtown is stacked.

A 9/10 opening doesn't allow but for a few beers before it's time to head to the stadium

Over there the game is at 12:00 so a 9:00 opening allows 2 1/2 hours to pound drinks and 30 minutes to stumble to the stadium.

I'm at Modern Malt right now. They open at 8 am, full bar, indoor and outdoor seating. It's pretty nice

I hope we don't disappoint. They seem to be prepared for what's going to hit them. Well besides their LB's, they don't have a chance agaisnt the Bugaman
