I was hoping someone could shed some light on regulation vs real world experience. Because, by the letter of the law, it sounds pretty terrible. It's basically like tailgating at an NFL game.

Tailgating at Texas

Anyone familiar with the tailgating rules at Texas? We have a group going down and staying a couple blocks from campus. We'd like to bring our gear down and setup on campus somewhere but I'm not sure what the rules are. I've asked a few UT alumni and they really didn't know. Seems like tailgating is not a big thing there. It sounds like it's more organizations putting on corp type tailgates or people having a few beers behind their car in a parking lot. Not sure if this is because of regulations or just that their fans suck.
I've had very mixed luck with Fiesta. Sometimes they are fine but I've gotten a lot of dead ones too.
FYI, they will take the dead ones back. Me and some buddies had to go trough and hand sort two sacks once and because there were so many dead crawfish. It was a pain in the arse but we picked out 15 lbs of dead ones. I took them back to Fiesta, they weighed them, and gave me cash.
If you want market prices and good quality try Cajun Crawfish Company. You have to drive to Lewisville though.

I'm leaving Dallas Saturday morning and expect to get to Omaha about 1-2 hours before the game. Will that give me enough time to get parked and find tickets before the game or should I secure tickets before I leave?
Also, if I buy a GA book will I be ok getting in line an hour before game time?
