This situation is so strange... Can't think of a dealing like this for a coach to be fired and keep working until the end.

That was one of the more awkward press conferences I've seen. Has this kind of thing ever been done before?

It has happened at LSU with Hallman, though not nearly this early in the season. They responded with two big wins.

Hey, I know it can seem like fans are a bit heartless, but I think most of us are grateful for Orgeron's efforts. At the end of the day, he got to live the dream, even if it did end rather abruptly. I hope you understand that, ultimately, LSU has to do what's best for the program, even if it stings a bit.
