LSU football players are held to a higher standard then the rest of the students. Back in the 50's and 60's and 70's LSU players were by and large untouchable. I can remember Brad Davis sitting on a bar stool in a hammond bar and being suckered punched and falling from the tool. Patrons at the bar beat the guy senseless and was thrown out the door. Police never was involved. Brad was always being targeted by jealous rednecks in hammond. And to my knowledge acted with class and never sunk to their level
Other LSU players were always protected by law enforcement back then. My feeling is .if these players played today LSU couldn't field a team. I think those drunk students in that parking lot egged Hill on and Hill was just lost in the moment. I'm sure that this happens a lot. Players should always when going out have at least 3 friends not affiliated with the football team to watch over the players and fight their battles when necessarily, They will always be the jealous a-hole who wants to ruin a career of a player.

Sounds like PUSSIES to me. When you participate in a bar fight someone loses and in my day, went home and put ice on it or go get it sewn up. Now they sue.

i have no problem with them being untouchable. id like a bama type system here were as long as the players aren't being aaron hernadez we kinda let it go
