Forgive me for not being up on our recruiting of him but is there any chance he could recommit? Those are the kind of offensive statistics we have been looking for for years. Mettenberger was better but I couldn't hack his off the field issues.

It seems clear that we are all in on Pro-style QBs. Attracting dual threat QBs, is tough sale. I personally would melt if the kid came back. HC and OC not on same page. With another staff, but with the guys in place, he should be looking fresh start. Who knows what we will be running by the end of the season.

Seemingly the most explosive offense we had since I have been following was with Rohan but it seems our passing attack has been flat and not the same since Matt Flynn left.

- Aaron Rodgers
- Cam Newton LINK
- Mettenberger

All played "glorified hs" football.

Savion Smith (who holds a Bama offer) and 3 other SEC commits/targets, met Scott in week 2 in glorified Hs ball.

His style of play would be a fit for a team such as Oregon

I would bet that those stats are better than Mettenburger's in juco.

Oddly he has a much better shot of playing for the Tigers, now that he's doing well in JuCo.

I agree. At the same time, our starting QB couldn't go out and do that for a JUCO though.

People need to understand EMCC is like the Alabama of the JUCO world, they out-talent everyone they play by a good margin.

Each and every year under the fat man they've had a QB put up video game numbers.

This isn't to say some of these QBs didn't play well at the D1 level too, some did (Ex. Chad Kelly, Bo Wallace). A lot of them also didn't.

Scott is a solid player, but unless we completely rebuilt an offense around him, he was going to struggle at the SEC level. Being a "gamer" will only take you so far when you start going up against multitudes of NFL talent. I've watched a handful of EMCC this year and Scott clearly has some limitations to him. The ball floats a lot when he throws it and he's made his fair share of risky throws.

Scott's offer list despite lighting it up each week right now:

UTSA
NM State
Tulane
WMU
