I think tcu is decent, but I think if we beat penn st we play Oregon st. Could be wrong.

Does Penn St suck this year? And who's on the other side of the bracket in that small tourney we can play?

Oregon state and wake forest. Neither are predicted to be that good.

Gtech and Penn state probably aren't bad teams but they aren't going to significant wins if we end up beating them.

They usually suck, and look to suck this year again.

We do play Georgia Tech, you know the team that won the ACC tourney last year and finished 4th in the regular season, and finished 5th the year before.
Not saying they are UNC are anything, but they are the best team on our schedule.

I do wish we'd play more big name teams. Losing to teams like Kansas, UCLA, Michigan, Michigan State, Duke, UNC is better than beating ULM by 60.

This was the second toughest game. Belmont prob 1st.

Ohio beat Belmont by 12 to stat the season (and led by 18 with about 2:00 to go). I'd probably rank the OOC opponents right now:

1. Ohio
2. Liberty
3. TCU
4. Belmont

Ohio is @ Kentucky this Friday, so we will get to see how they fare against the team that is picked to be the SEC's best.

Belmont can definitely score though. While probably not quite as efficient as Liberty, they make up for in in volume (they want to take a lot of shots).

They technically shouldn’t lose any OOC this year.

Going on the road, mid-conference season, to a Big 12 opponent isn't easy. But I agree, LSU SHOULD be favored in every OOC game at least through December.

Belmont, Ohio, Liberty are all solid teams. But LSU gets them at home. So while a loss wouldn't be surprising, it would be disappointing because those games are being played in the PMAC.

Penn St. has a new HC and lost many of their best players to transfers (one LSU wanted). They were blown out last night by a decent, but by no means great, UMass team.

Georgia Tech got hot at the right time last season, but lost some key players from that team. They are picked to finish 12th in the ACC. The game is in Atlanta (though not in Ga. Tech's gym), so it won't be "easy". But I'm not ready to call Georgia Tech the best team on LSU's schedule just yet. In fact, I think Liberty, Ohio and TCU alone are better. Tech will play Wisconsin and UNC in the two games before they play LSU. We'll know what kind of team they are before they step on the court vs. LSU.

TCU

TCU may be sneaky just saw they brought in Emmanual miller from TAMU, who was a great player and he looks to be their second option. Dixon is a good coach so I can see that being a tough game in the middle of conference play.

Haven't seen Ohio play yet but Liberty looked really good to me, so if they are anything on their level should be another really fun game to attend.

also Ga tech, penn state, and TCU since they are not home games could end up as quad 1 wins

I saw Ohio beat them but they return just about everything from a 26-4 team last year. They’ll have an easier time winning the OVC than Ohio Will winning the MAC when it comes down to it

It is early, but right now it is REALLY hard to see Georgia Tech and PSU being top 50 teams at the end of the season (assuming the game vs. Georgia Tech is measured as a "neutral" site game vs. a true road game). TCU is probably a top 75 team.

LSU's OOC schedule doesn't look to have many sure fire Q1 games on it (except maybe TCU)...but it doesn't have a ton of ugly games on it either (outside of ULM, McNeese and Northwestern St.). It won't grab many headlines, but I wouldn't be surprised to see LSU's NC SOS ranked 30 or below at the end of the season.

TCU has a whole bunch of transfers

Peavy from TTech

OBannon from USC

Baugh from Memphis

And Mike Miles was one of the other G’s on team USA with Adam Miller

Yea liberty is a very solid mid major that has beaten some very good teams. It was a damn good win. When this LSU team goes on a tear they are so fun to watch

You can make up bullshite excuses all day but we're not going to have a single Q1 OOC opponent and no one gives a shite about your prognostications of who could be a bracket buster 4 months from now. If you want to be an elite program, then you should play a schedule where all of the OCC conference games aren't buried on subscription services. Our OCC schedule is a fvcking joke compared to peers in our conference like Auburn, Alabama, Tenn.

Ahh yes, the random internet guy who clearly knows more than the current HC of LSU... Sorry, but I'm going with Wade on this one, Ohio, Belmont, Liberty are all solid OOC games

Penn st. Is supposed to be in the bottom of their conference. I think tcu is actually a pretty decent team. I’d assume a tourney team. I don’t see penn st, Oregon st, or wake in the ncaa tournament

Your opinion is pathetic and embarrassing.
