So let me get this straight

-They’re terminating him for cause
-They're not agreeing with the allegations
-from what I know about the amendment he agreed to with his contract, they have cause if he’s found to have committed the violations which they just publicly said they’re not agreeing to

Sounds to me like there’s no cause and they tucked and ran bullshite

ETA: if I’m wrong on what they need cause for just tell me, I’m going off the reports not the actual contract language

Just keeps kinda pointless to terminate him for cause just because he was named (which they have every right to do per the contract) unless they have an ace in the hole with a new head coach.

This seems like an Alleva move. Youre basically admit guilt because it is with cause. Then you say we are not saying the allegations are true.

The amended contract stated Wade could be fired if the NCAA brought forth Level I or Level II allegations.

It's all about optics. They are hoping that firing Wade will reduce the chances the NCAA slams us, which I have a feeling they're going to do anyway. Tate and Woodward are coming off as weak, just like Alleva did when he suspended Wade.

I hope every commit decommits. This administration is a fricking clown show. You hired a coach to win, he did just that, nothing you do today is saving you from whatever you think is coming. The administration is a bunch of cowards who deserve whatever happens for not having the guts to stand by their coach while actively saying they do not agree with the allegations.

Agree.. what fricking new coach would want to come here and coach walk ons for a few years while on probation.. I hope we end up with another fricking Johnny Jones with an empty arena.. I hear the Missouri head basketball coach is unemployed.. LoL..LSU always make themselves look like fools, Although Verge Ausberry is still employed.. LoL..football’s next on the list for the NCAA…

The Tate stuff has been overblown so far but I don’t see where naming a coach who was hired before him and a baseball coach is a boom in any way.

ETA: And when is the last time an LSU AD has hired the head coach of the 4 biggest sports on campus?
